Temper restaurants are unique BBQ and open fire pit restaurants with a focus on New World wine and with an innovative in-house cocktail selection. They cook everything using only wood and charcoal in huge open fire pits in the middle of the room.

Armada was pleased to be involved in their second Temper project, thanks to the fit-out contractor Bluecrow Projects. Ironmongery was Polished Brass to the front of house and included bespoke pull handles in Unlacquered Brass with Iroko grips.

Industrial – Wellingborough

Cummins Inc., a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service diesel and natural gas engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems.

Headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, (USA) Cummins currently employs approximately 55,000 people worldwide and serves customers in approximately 190 countries.

Their Peterborough site extends to 45000m2 and was subject to a full refurb, to be complete within 12 weeks. An extraordinary office interior that was flexible and truly inspirational was the result. Armada’s part was to supply ironmongery throughout, in particular the long Stainless Steel pull handles that were fitted to both sides of all doors.

Hyde Park, London

Hyde Park, London

This Grade II Listed property in the West End extends to over 16000 square feet. It was subject to a full refurb and we were delighted to supply all of the ironmongery to this magnificent property.

Hardware was carefully co-ordinated with different areas and floors of the house, often having different finishes to either side to doors to give a consistent look from each room. Finishes ranged from Polished Chrome to Brass and Dark Bronze.

A swimming pool is situated in the basement with glass doors to changing areas. We supplied the hardware to these as well as to all the timber doors.

Armada worked carefully with the designers and contractor and the finished result was an excellent reflection of the many hours of detailed work put in throughout the project.

Office refurb Cambridge

Birketts, office refurbishment, Cambridge

Birketts is recognized as one of the top UK law firms, with offices in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. They have been in Cambridge since 2008, and relocated towards the end of 2015 to newly refurbished office.

Cambridge Office Environments undertook the refurb which was completed to a high standard. Armada were pleased to supply all the ironmongery to this project, this was chosen from the Function Plus range to ensure optimal performance in a busy office environment. In addition, we supplied a Portman pocket door system. This was an extra tall system to accommodate the full height doors being used throughout this project.

Restaurant fit-outs, UK

Carluccio’s now has 45 restaurants over the UK as well as in Turkey and UAE, offering ‘great quality, authentic Italian food at sensible prices’.

Armada are pleased to have been associated with their rapid rise, through specialist shop fit out company Ecsec, supplying ironmongery to many of the UK restaurants like the one pictured below.

On each of these sites, we work to an ironmongery spec dictated by the architects, and produce an excel ironmongery spreadsheet for the contractors.

Often lead times are critical on these projects, due to meeting opening deadlines. When additions crop up at the last minute, our depth of stock holding is valuable, enabling us to get items to the site next or even the same day.
